🌟 ABGC ELITE Cheerleading – Winter 2025 🌟

Welcome to the next level of cheer!

💥 This is ABGC ELITE Cheer — an invite-only All-Star Competition Squad built for athletes who are ready to take their cheer game to the top. 📣🔥

👑 What is ELITE Cheer?

ELITE is a competitive squad made up of seasoned cheerleaders who have mastered the fundamentals and are now leveling up with:

🤸 Tumbling
🧗‍♀️ Stunting
💃 High-energy choreography
🎤 Special performances & competitions (local travel may be required)

🎟 Eligibility:

This squad is by invitation only and intended for cheerleaders who:

✔️ Have completed at least one season on the ABGC Recreational Cheer team
✔️ Successfully pass the ELITE evaluation

📅 Practice Schedule:

Practice days are decided based on Annandale Terrace Elementary School availability, which cannot be determined until school opens for the fall.
Coaching staff will provide the final practice day information as soon as it is available.
(Additional practices may be scheduled ahead of competitions.) 💪⏰

Fee structure:

$175 (Base cost)

- $5 (Registration completed online)

- $5 (Assistant coach)

- $95 (Scholarship player*)

+ $3 (Credit card processing fee)

+ $50 (Field use fee if not Fairfax County resident)

+$250 (Mandatory uniform fee- new cheerleaders only)

***🎀 Additional costs for gear (shoes, bows, etc.) will be due after registration

*📝 Scholarship Info:

Scholarship players must register in person at the office.

To qualify:

✅ Live in Fairfax County
✅ Qualify for free or reduced lunch in FCPS
✅ Provide proof of qualification
✅ Pay a reduced, non-refundable $55 player fee

💡 Heads Up:

Registration is not complete until full payment is received. Players won’t be assigned to squads until fees are paid. ⏳💳

Cheerleading: Winter 2025

Ages:

Open to youths ages 5 (turning 6 by 12/31/25) through 15.

Program Overview:

Our Cheerleading program welcomes everyone—no tryouts required! Participants learn cheers, chants, and basic stunts in a fun, supportive environment that promotes confidence, teamwork, and school spirit.

Practice Schedule:

Location: Annandale Terrace Elementary
Days: Weekdays (Exact days determined later)
Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

After registering, cheerleaders may be asked to provide proof of birth, which can be mailed or delivered to the ABGC front office.

Fee structure:

$150 (Base cost)

- $5 (Registration completed online)

- $5 (Assistant coach)

- $95 (Scholarship player*)

+ $3 (Credit card processing fee)

+ $50 (Field use fee if not Fairfax County resident)

***Additional Fees for supplies such as shoes, bows etc. due after registration

*Scholarship Players must register at the office. A scholarship player is a player who:

- is a Fairfax County Resident,

- AND qualifies in Fairfax County schools for free and reduced lunch,

- AND shows proof of the previous item at the office,

- AND pays the $55.00 per player non-refundable reduced fee.

Registration Details:

Player registration is not complete until full payment is received (online or at the office).

Cheerleaders will not be assigned to a squad until payment is confirmed.

Basketball: Recreation - Winter 2025/2026

Season Dates:

January 5 – March 14, 2026

(Practices begin in December)

Program Overview:

Recreational Basketball is open to boys and girls in grades K–12.

Teams are formed using a neighborhood-based model by grade level to keep players close to home and among friends.

The focus is on skill development, teamwork, and, most importantly, having fun!

Schedule:

Practices: Weeknights after 5:00 PM, beginning in December
Games: Weekends (primarily Saturdays)
Teams are formed in early December. Coaches will notify players of practice times once rosters are set.
Game schedules will be released after team formation.

Fee structure:

$150 (Base cost)

- $5 (Registration completed online)

- $150 (Head coach or league commissioner discount for one child)

- $10 (Assistant coach discount for one child)

- $75 (First time player discount, one-time)

- $95 (Scholarship player*)

+ $3 (Credit card processing fee)

+ $50 (Court use fee if not Fairfax County resident)
